Registering Wagyu animals
Wagyu Cattle Registry is not exclusionary and Wagyu with white markings, blonde and white Wagyu, Mishima, and miniatures are all welcome. We will even accept solid red and solid black Wagyu. While some Wagyu associations have adopted a color standard thus excluding many quality animals. We think this a disservice to a breed with a low gene pool and to the breeders and owners of Wagyu cattle!
All animals to be registered with the Wagyu Cattle Registry will need a DNA profile that must be obtained by members or non members. See the genomic page for information regarding DNA/genomic testing.

It is very important to provide accurate parentage information. We DO NOT accept entries with animals just identified as "Grade". Every animals MUST HAVE a date of birth. This is for animals regardless of their breed. Your registration papers will list the breed composition and percentage of your animal.
